Warranty extension

Switched Outlet Groups: Remote Restart and Sequential Startup
Thanks to the Switched Outlet Groups, it is possible to configure a phased/delayed switch-on per UPS output group. This reduces the peak load of the UPS and brings it closer to the constant load, thereby limiting the oversizing of the UPS.
It is also possible to reset a group of multiple UPS outputs and the devices connected to them. PowerChute Network Shutdown
PowerChute Network Shutdown is UPS management software that works with the UPS network management card to protect Windows, Linux, and Host ESXi as well as hyperconverged and virtual infrastructure*. In the event of a power outage, PowerChute can gracefully shut down your virtual machines and the pre-configured startup sequence ensures they are powered back on.

Remote management and monitoring of your network
The network card can be managed remotely via the user-friendly web browser interface, the EcoStruxure™ IT remote management software (SFTWES1-DIGI) or another SNMP-compatible system. Tip: EcoStruxure™ IT also includes the functionalities of the support contract below.

Extend the lifespan
The internal battery cartridge (APCRBC133) can be easily, safely and independently replaced by the user. This is done without having to switch off the APC SMT1500RMI2UNC or connected devices. In this way, you can easily and cost-effectively extend the life of the APC Smart-UPS and your devices always remain online.
Warranty extension
The manufacturer's warranty for the SMT1500RMI2UNC is 3 years, with the exception of the battery, which has a 2-year manufacturer's warranty. Both are extended by 3 years to 6 and 5 years respectively with the APC Service Pack (WBEXTWAR3YR-SP-03).

Switched Outlet Groups: Remote Restart and Sequential Startup
Thanks to the Switched Outlet Groups, it is possible to configure a phased/delayed switch-on per UPS output group. This reduces the peak load of the UPS and brings it closer to the constant load, thereby limiting the oversizing of the UPS.
It is also possible to reset a group of multiple UPS outputs and the devices connected to them. When using SmartConnect Advanced (ERWPLUS1-1Y-DIGI), a UPS with SmartConnect port + Ecostruxure IT Expert (SFTWES1-DIGI) or a network card (ap9640) in combination with Ecostruxure IT Expert (SFTWES1-DIGI), this is even possible remotely.
