The APC Easy Switched Rack PDU EPDU1016S is an easy-to-install and user-friendly PDU that enables simple and efficient power distribution in the rack. The PDU offers outlet switching, advanced power management, load monitoring, and many more features than an average power strip. The EPDU1016S has an IEC-320 C20 200-240V input and eight IEC-C13 outputs. It is a horizontal, rack-mountable PDU with an ultra-lightweight design and a new intelligent, multifunctional display. Remote outlet management allows users to turn off unused outlets (to avoid overloads) or restore power to locked-up equipment (to minimize downtime and avoid travel to equipment). The fully-featured, user-friendly web interface for network management provides standards-based management via web, SNMP, and command-line interface. It enables users to access, configure, and manage devices from remote locations, saving valuable time. Quick and easy firmware upgrades via network download allow for future product enhancements. There's no need to replace products already installed in the field when new features are released. Connect and manage multiple PDUs using a single IP address to simplify and accelerate deployment while saving the cost of a dedicated network connection for each PDU. It allows the user to configure the order in which power is turned on or off for each outlet. This helps avoid inrush current at startup, which can lead to overloaded circuits and tripped loads. With sequencing, the user can also specify which device is powered on first so that other devices dependent on it function correctly. It displays overload and warning conditions based on user-defined alarm thresholds. It alerts users to potentially overloaded circuits. The packaging includes cables, an installation guide, and horizontal mounting brackets for quick and easy installation in the enclosure. It can operate in a temperature range of -5° to +45°C and comes with a 1-year standard warranty.
