Increase Availability
An APC Rack Automatic Transfer Switch allows single-corded hardware to be connected to two different power sources, increasing the availability of this connected hardware and preventing costly downtime. Since an APC Rack ATS uses two input power cables (not included), it can be connected to two different power sources simultaneously. If you then connect single-corded hardware to the Rack ATS, this hardware can draw power from two separate power sources. If one source fails, the Rack ATS immediately switches to the second feed without disturbing the connected hardware.
Easy to Use
You can read the status of the APC Rack ATS at a glance via the front panel interface, but you can also manage it remotely thanks to the integrated network management function.
Convenience
Since this Rack ATS is equipped with multiple outputs, multiple single-corded devices can be connected to the ATS at the same time and thus all benefit from the security of two power feeds.
