As soon as the power goes out, an APC Smart-UPS immediately provides emergency power to all connected devices. Since this happens automatically with an APC UPS, you prevent unwanted outages of, for example, a PC, server, or switch. With the free APC PowerChute software, you can even have critical IT hardware automatically and controlledly shut down when the UPS battery is almost empty. This prevents data loss, downtime, and physical damage to the hardware.

In addition, a Smart-UPS protects connected devices from, among other things, power surges caused by lightning. This APC emergency power supply is ideal for use in (small) businesses.

You can easily read the estimated battery life in the runtime graph, which you will find between the product images. You can easily see how long the UPS will supply emergency power at a specific load.

SmartConnect
Ready-to-use UPS remote monitoring, free for a 6-month trial period. With the SmartConnect Ethernet port, you can easily connect the Smart-UPS to your network and monitor it remotely via the secure cloud-based APC SmartConnect web portal*. In addition, the UPS can be monitored at any time via this port via EcoStruxure IT Expert (SFTWES1-DIGI).

PowerChute
By connecting the UPS to a maximum of one server via a USB cable, it can automatically provide it with a shutdown signal during a prolonged power outage, thus preventing a hard shutdown. This exact time can be set via the free APC PowerChute Serial Edition software.

Network management card
If you connect the UPS directly to your network via the optional APC network management card (AP9640/AP9641), it can be easily managed remotely via SNMP or our remote management software Ecostruxure IT Expert (SFTWES1-DIGI). You can also automatically send a shutdown signal over the network to multiple physical and/or virtual servers. The APC PowerChute Network Shutdown Software connected to the network card can even distinguish between the time of shutdown and the order in which it occurs.

Ease of use
Physical buttons and an LCD screen allow you to set and read the basic functions. Thanks to the included 4-post rail kit, you can easily mount the UPS in a rack.

Extend the lifespan
The internal battery cartridge (APCRBC123) can be replaced easily, safely, and independently by the user. This is without having to turn off the APC SMT750RMI2UC or connected devices. In this way, you can easily and cost-effectively extend the life of the APC Smart-UPS and your devices always stay online.

Warranty extension
The manufacturer's warranty for the SMT750RMI2UC is 3 years, with the exception of the battery, which has a manufacturer's warranty of 2 years. Both are extended by 3 years to 6 and 5 years respectively with the APC Service Pack (WBEXTWAR3YR-SP-02).

Switched outlet groups: Remote restart and staged start
Thanks to the Switched Outlet Groups, it is possible to configure a phased/delayed power-on per UPS outlet group. This reduces the peak load of the UPS and brings it closer to the constant load, thereby limiting oversizing of the UPS.

It is also possible to reset a group of multiple UPS outputs and the connected devices. When using SmartConnect Advanced (ERWPLUS1-1Y-DIGI), a UPS with a SmartConnect port + Ecostruxure IT Expert (SFTWES1-DIGI) or a network card (ap9640) in combination with Ecostruxure IT Expert (SFTWES1-DIGI), this is even possible remotely.
