This APC UPS Network Management Card (NMC) allows remote monitoring and control of individual single-phase and three-phase APC UPSs via secure network browsers or external command line interfaces. The NMC with a temperature sensor connects to the UPS via a web browser, user interface, or SNMP. The flash-upgradable firmware remotely installs firmware maintenance releases via FTP. The network management card provides multi-user access, pre-installed multi-language support, enhanced security protection, and storage for data and event logs. The NMC card with PowerChute Network Shutdown enables unattended, safe shutdown of physical servers, virtual machines, and HCI clusters. The network card supports a user-selectable password with strong password rules and a password reset mechanism.
