Manage your Smart-UPS
With the APC network card ap9641, you can connect an APC Smart-UPS (equipped with a SmartSlot) to the network. This allows you to remotely monitor and manage the UPS (SNMP, EcoStruxure™ IT, web browser), and the UPS can send a shutdown signal to multiple physical and/or virtual servers using PowerChute Network Shutdown software.

Monitor the environment
The AP9641 has a temperature sensor (AP9335T) that allows remote monitoring of the UPS's ambient temperature. Automatic temperature-dependent shutdown of the UPS is also possible.

Measure humidity
The AP9641 also accommodates a second sensor; if you choose the AP9335TH, you can monitor both the humidity and temperature of the environment where the UPS is located. This also enables automatic UPS shutdown due to excessive humidity.

Wireless UPS monitoring via Wi-Fi
By connecting the APC USB Wi-Fi dongle AP9834 to the network card, it can communicate wirelessly with your network.

Additional UPS monitoring via relays
Instead of a second sensor, you can also combine the benefits of UPS monitoring via SNMP and potential-free / dry contacts. You achieve this by combining the ap9641 with the ap9810.

PowerChute Network Shutdown
PowerChute Network Shutdown is UPS management software that works with the UPS network management card to protect Windows, Linux, and host ESXi, as well as hyper-converged and virtual infrastructure*. In the event of a power outage, PowerChute can gracefully shut down your virtual machines, and the pre-configured startup sequence ensures they are powered back on.

Remote management and monitoring of your network
The network card can be managed remotely via the user-friendly web browser interface, the EcoStruxure™ IT remote management software (SWITE1YR-DIGI), or another SNMP-compatible system. Tip: EcoStruxure™ IT also includes the functionalities of the support contract below.

Remote controlled outlet switching
Frozen connected devices can be remotely restarted via controlled outlet groups already present on the UPS and in combination with a network card, so that functionality can be restored without the need for personnel.

Remote Monitoring Service
The optional Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Asset Advisor service (WUPG1PEAA-UG-01) provides maximum protection and security by remotely monitoring critical equipment for you 24/7 in real-time via SE's Connected Services Hub. In case of incidents, SE contacts you directly on your mobile phone via Smart Alarms and also promptly offers problem solutions.

Asset Advisor is a cloud-based remote monitoring service that can monitor, troubleshoot, and track site issues promptly and efficiently.
